Anyone know if this includes the return flights and where it flies from?

I currently live in France but would like to give this a go.

Each driver will have to pay for their own fuel, tolls, drinks and return flights to San Francisco.

Thanks - I missed that part, it's looking less attractive now, but still interesting...

My only concern is that the roads in the US are straight & boring? Also what's the speed limits & traffic officers like? Would someone who's been shead some light please? It is good value for money considering fuel is cheap, €4 a gallon? Food is big portions, so good value. Seriously considering a driving holiday this year, is there the possibility of a C6 ZR1 upgrade?

Straight and boring? That's what they want you to think wink

There are times and places (just as in this country and in Europe) where you really NEED to stick to the speed limit, and likewise there are opportunities to "stretch your legs" if you know where to go...

ZR1? No chance, sorry.
But we're hoping to try and grab a C7 if they have any on the fleet by then...

I went on this tour last year and can confirm that the roads are not all straight and boring! I won't give away any routes as I know PN like to keep them as a surprise but some of the mountain roads are fantastic, challenging and there's very little traffic (and we didn't see any police!).

There are straight bits of freeway in between which was quite relaxing and very easy to drive in the 'vette. I found it a good mix, each day you had stints of challenging road interspersed with some relaxing cruising and a chance to take in the spectacular scenery. There is also a lot of banter over the walkie talkies so even as a lone driver I was never bored.

The highest recommendation I can give is that out of the 12 cars on our US tour, 10 of those couples have already done or booked further tours.

Since I was an Engrish major, what does that fee come out to in (useless) American dollars?
