His work is sublime. Will work on non-vag stuff too, worth speaking to!
Love this idea, a box-arched car used properly!!!!

This is fantastic, pure and unadulterated car porn in the making!
I have just one question, which is a little unsavoury; where the hell does monkey get all his money? It will end up £30-40k which is a fair chunk for a toy, even if you're extremely affluent.
Does Chris take the registration off the back of an R1, get a balaclava and conduct a few countryside Post Office hits to fund these projects?
If so keep it up, but please try to avoid the rural post offices in east Anglia :P

At least he can't lose £10k on this one.
Looks like an awesome project though
Trees are hard even for the best rally drivers.Looks like an awesome project though
But looks like a fun project and i recognise starting to looks at something(computer, tv, cars, parts) and then you add a bit more. End up spending twice as much as you initially thought.

I remember a similar project that I was involved in helping with. Sytner Nottingham's E30 M3 BTCC Replica about 10 years ago. We never touched the engine but the lads may have played with it since?
Should be a good project Chris.
If the car you did was done in the mobil livery then it was sat in Sytner Sutton Coldfield a couple of years back. Should be a good project Chris.
Had a good nose round it and although it looked fantastic i did think it was either an old GPn car or an old promo car that had been dusted off (i.e no GRP A hubs, that sort of thing)
Wanted to try and buy it but SWMBO insisted on buying a 1 series instead.
Bugger.........

Anyone else want to see just a couple of coats of clear over the oxidised paint
And with the interior coated in mukey dog hair, like a similarly hued S4...See here at 01:24 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCN7KlMzDAk
Great project, looking forward to the Wednesday vids

Barney at Classic Heroes has lots of race prep expertise. He's got a couple of racing e30's too. http://www.classicheroes.co.uk/default
Although he's southerly based, so may be a bit of a schlep for you Chris.
