I feel drained. The rant lacked flow and was less fluid than I expected.

Bring back rain gutters, quarter vents and pivoting rear passenger windows, like on my first Austin A40 from 1964.

The sun is shining, I'm driving the wife's Honda Jazz (Not through choice) and I'm thinking, give the air con a rest, and open the windows to feel the wind on my face. It's warm, and I am care free as I drive and life is good...

Until from fking nowhere, the heavens open and the fking rain is coming down in buckets. I reach for the switches to get the fking windows up as quick as I can and what the fk? The switches are wet, the arm rest is wet, and now my fking hand is getting a drenching from the flow of fk wit water that's pouring down the door frame because of the poor fking design. What the fk is that about. This doesn't happen with my own 72 model Vauxhall. fking rain and water stay outside the fking car cos it's got fking gutters for fking crying out fking loud. Before the windows were up, my hand, my arm, and half the fking interior of the car were saoking fking wet. For crying out loud, I can wind my windows up fking faster than the fk wit Honda can get it's glazing up. fking modern junk. fk!
Is it nice and quiet at speed? Decent economy?

You can weld a gutter on to it if you prefer water management to aerodynamics.
Try to keep all external radii to 6mm or larger for that full OEM-road-legal-solution look.

Its is'nt just Honda's.

All modern cars have this problem because of the curve they have from the roof to the sill. "tumblehome" i think they call it, in the interests of aerodynamics.

You could have a car where the roof is wider than the rest of the car, not the other way round, that would solve it.

But then cars would look like this:

That would never do... wink

surprised no one has yet mentioned that Honda also has the technology to make cars that get you wet even when it's not raining. Try a squeeze of the s2000's wash wipe with the lights on and roof down for an instant portable rain shower.

Even my mgb gt has a window gutter! Unfortunately rain does still come in through pretty much everywhere else though...
