Looks cool, seems to have an engine that matches the looks, ok the look is retro but it's better than some of the modern designs.

At that money, why on earth would you not buy a big Mustang and take a year or two off with the change?

A Challenger at the front, a Mustang in the middle and a 69 Charger at the rear.

If you have that money and like the look you could afford to buy examples of the original cars - you'd get far more respect than hauling yourself around in this ersatz calamity.

Now if Hyundai would only lower the price and put it into mass production.

Equus was also a rather angular 1978 concept car. By Vauxhall.

Equus was also a rather delightful play I had to study for GCSE English Literature where a kid becomes obsessed with taking out horses for moonlit rides whilst totally naked and then one day gets even more crazy and stabs their eyes out.

There are going to be a lot of people who had to study this and shiver at the word 'equus', and the play is the highest result when you google the word so it would seem that it's a very well known thing and one from which brands would usually seek to distance themselves.

Jenny Agutter got naked in the film though...so not all bad.

Harry Potter got naked for it on the stage!

I thought part of the appeal of muscle cars and what helped to cement their popularity and cult status was their pricing making them the blue collar hero of the sports car world. The under dog if you like. Surely this video and price tag means Hyundai have completely missed the point of the muscle car.

Don't get me wrong I think this looks fantastic, but they should mass produce it and make it cheaper, if only then for me to be able to buy one.

Hyundai didn't make this ve-hicle. They produce one with a similar name in the US. biggrin

edit to add:

here's a pic of Hyundai's effort (they make some good cars in the states BTW)

It looks and sounds great, actually, and if it was £60k, it would make sense. But the cost is ridiculous when it buys you a Chip Foose modified classic muscle car, or less than (far less than) half the cost gets you stuff like this:

You'd have to be absolutely insane to spend 250k on anything remotely related to Hyundai.

It's the best looking muscle car to come out in 40 years!

Why is everyone comparing to a mustang? It looks far far more like a Plymouth Barracuda!
