Mr Dan Trent, could you please sort out your grammar and punctuation issues, as your articles are becoming a bind to read. Are we really to believe that you are the Editor?

'Like an old S-Class perhaps. I won't bore you but having come within a whisker of sneaking another Clio 172 onto the fleet the lack of doors was rumbled at the last minute and back into the classifieds for a Fiesta I went.'

Just looking for the odd, appropriate comma here and there.

Thanks in advance

Smaller boot than an E class.
Kind of makes sense, does it not?

E-class is the staple family car. S-Class, far less likely to carry buggies and stuff to the tip. So long as you can fit luggage for 4 to get to the airport, that's it's brief I would imagine.

How does it compare with previous generations of S-class/E-class? Has the S-class boot always been smaller than E-class (and how do other brands do it, i.e. is the A6 saloon's boot bigger than the A8, Is the 5 series saloon's boot bigger than the 7 series?)

I was being facetious!
But yes, the boot is smaller partly because of the reclining rear seats.

You cannot get four suitcases in the back, in fact you'd be struggling with three. I know this because I had an S class (11 plate) for two weeks and it was rubbish!

I have never taken rusbbish to the tip in mine, I wait till I get a loan car from Mercedes to do that! (C class estate last time)

I thought that with the demise of Maybach that MB were going to push the the S- Class in a more bespoke and luxury direction. As incredible as the Tec and features are, the S-Class is lacking the personality that the Flying Spur and Ghost have in bucket loads. I like it but it's not Luxury enough.
