Whilst it is great that it remains out of the hands of property developers, it also should be noted that its not ACTUALLY been bought by Porsche.
Its been bought by the Porsche Importer for South Africa. Not a Subsidiary or a Porsche owned Regional Office. Instead, a independent company that has an agreement to buy wholesale and distribute cars through their Porsche Centres.

I do know what you meant but a reminder that F1 made a brief return there for the 1992 and 1993 calendars.Bernice has, in the last few years, been paying lip service to the idea of a return to SA for F1. I'm not holding my breath it'll be anytime soon.
