Nothing you've mentioned above will hold it's value in the slightest. Each one of these cars will appreciate significantly in value. 355's are going to go stratospheric, much like the 308/328's have done.

Standard and unmolested Saxo VTS's are sure to rise in value in the next 5 to 10 years i think. You don't see many on the road, a lot of them have been chavved up or crashed or turned into track cars, and they are similar to other last gen hot hatches (306 gti, clio sport etc.) that will become more sought after and desirable because they are simple good fun.

Recent performance is no guarantee for the future, but I agree with sentiment. Financial meltdown will whack all but the very special.

Marinas, Allegros & most BL stuff are rising in value. There is considerable interest in them, though this may be less obvious here on Piston Heads than on enthusiast sites.

Alfa SZ/RZ. Been more or less static for years, now they're creeping up and are (almost?) eligible for import to the U.S, which can't hurt.

Old Fords - anything made before 1990 seems to be increasing in value.

10 years ago I would not have believed the Capri I'd bought could be an appreciating asset!

Good clean low mileage uk spec mx5 are going up in value also rare limited edition imported models VR LTD, R LTD, S special etc are also holding strong atm and rising slowly.
