RE: Shed Of The Week: Mazda MX-6
Discussion
Shed is right about looking past the stickers, under that is a fairly decent looking retro coupe, can think of worse ways to waft about for a bit.
I suspect whoever did that to the poor thing may be living in a flat rammed with junk, bottles of their own pee and several well dressed corpses, which would be a similar level of mental as hideously overdone Von Dutch stylings on a Jap Coupe.
My problem would be driving it home, getting sat in traffic and being associated with it whilst it still wears its murals, then you get pegged as "every town has one", which they do.

And it's SORN. Whatever your opinion on the merits of the model, surely that alone eliminates this example from shed contention?
If you must have some unusual Mazda, surely this is a more shedly shed?

Maybe I'm a fool, but I wouldn't even bother going to look at a car owned by someone who would do that to it. Every time I have looked at a car with any sort of modifications or customization (tasteless or otherwise) it's a badly maintained st heap, even when the owner genuinely seems to think it's great.
The japanese take on the Calibra. They dumbded it down so it should appeal
more to the crowd of former Capri and Manta owners because it was less futuristic.
But of course they even copied the trademark rustspots on the sills and rear arches...
sadly they didn't get the "driftable rwd" memo.
So these were useless when new. Making one SOTW now is just hilarious. (On April 1st.)
fail.

Hardly, when you consider the Government's wonderful changes to the VED system means every car purchase requires the new owner to pay for tax straight away.On the SOTW topic though I have to say I am struggling to find redeeming features on the MX6 and find myself looking thinking this Cougar V6 manual with LPG for £795 is a far better proposition

Utter cack.
SOTW is normally something to look forward to on a Friday lunchtime, but not even Shed's flowing prose has captured his love life this week with regards Mrs Shed. That disappointing lack of marital communication to his loyal followers, coupled with one of the worst SOTW's makes me feel rather concerned for the poor chap. Something is clearly wrong.

Ok, so a 90s six cyclinder BMW every week then....Shed is like a bag of Revels, sooner or later you get a run of rancid Coffee flavoured ones, the ones you wish they would replace with something more palatable like Ear Wax or Bluebottles.

Hmm, the Ford "woman who seeks sexual relations with considerably younger men". Not really sure of that's better or worse than a Probe...On the SOTW topic though I have to say I am struggling to find redeeming features on the MX6 and find myself looking thinking this Cougar V6 manual with LPG for £795 is a far better proposition
