depends how far he's stripping the car. i have a 172 cup race car which doesn't have a rear ARB and handles brilliantly.

but for a race car you are running significantly stiffer springs and dampers at the rear compared to the standard setup. Mine was still primarily a road car so softish springs meant it could keep good wheel traction on our wonderful B roads. Road setups tend to have softer rears in relation to the front for FWD, but you will probably be running 400lb fronts and around 600lb rears on your car.

Most people seem to upgrade to Cooksprings for a standard setup improvement... or I think it's Bilstein that's a good coilover setup, though you're looking around £700-800 there.
Too soft for a dedicated track car really. They are more a fast road setup.
Is it going to be dedicated though? He said he wants to keep it for the road too.
