Just checked the email:

"We are pleased to confirm that your 2015 Competition Licence has been sent for printing today. The printed licence will be dispatched from our printers within the next 3 working days by 1st class post. You should then receive your licence in the post no more than 8 working days following this email. "

that was on the 28th, so there's time enough yet

The MSA 2015 Yearbook turned up today, and yes, the R888R is included on the new List 1B. However, all tyres within 1B are listed with a "*", meaning that they could be removed in 2016 and there is a para about a new List 1C, which will include tyres for racing only - and could include many of the current List 1B tyres. Clear?
