RE: Bentley - Geneva
Discussion
I think it looks fantastic from every angle. It has that classic GT profile rarely seen since the '60s. The low bonnet and cleaner look, devoid of a billion vents, etc (like the new Continental GT), is refreshing. It doesn't look as bloated and top-heavy as the Conti GT does.
I even like the front. However, it's the rear 3/4 view that's the real money shot, isn't it?
Certainly a lot of DB9 in the window/roofline and C-pillar. That's no bad thing!
It almost even reminds me a bit of this:
IMO, they really need to build this, post-haste!

I disagree with those of you that want a pretty front end. To me the classic Bentley is like the bully in a tailor made suit. Forget then about another aerodyne pretty face. Instead go for character and elegance. There is still something amiss with the front but adding pretty is not it. Also, the rear lamps are cartoonish.

I think the problem with the front end is the round headlights. They jar with the rest of the design. If they were to create more angular headlights (Audi/Mercedes/everyone else) the front might look less gopping.
Like 'em or not, round lights are a Bentley signature, so they would be crazy to ape the Germans. While taste is a very subjective thing, the design does has a certain "Britishness" which goes well with the brand. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
