Think I will just keep moving on to even more backward countries as we evolve become more controlled to the next step of what they have in store for us.

Less developed countries are usually hotter anyway.

Driving will be banned due to risk of accidents. Government mandated movement passes will be granted to anyone permitted to leave their house after they have filed a complete report on their movements, once this is complete an electric vehicle controlled by an AI will be despatched to your location.

However as it is the UK, the AI will go on strike and the cars will turn up 3 hours late. You will then be arrested on suspicion of offending someone.

Alternatively, i want crazy 50's style nuclear cars like this

Hell, in 25 years time we might reach 'peak battery' and realise that we can't keep plundering the earth for materials to build batteries and have to go down a different route. Perhaps the hydrogen fuel cell will be the answer (finally!).
Current hydrogen fuel cell tech uses a platinum catalyst - all of this tech is going to require continuing plundering, though the nice thing about the use of materials like this in fuel cells and batteries is that they are recyclable. The amount required is finite, for a given size of vehicle fleet. It's not analogous to burning non-renewables.

In movies, you never see a mix, everyone's in a flying car. There's never a beardy chap waffling on about how his immaculately maintained 320d has been in the family for 40 years, and see how modern it was in it's day with run-flat tyres to help reliability when you were actually in contact with the road-surface...

In the fairly rotten near-future film Looper, one interesting aspect was that most people appeared to drive old cars with bodged conversion kits to whatever the "fuel of the future" was.

The hero also drove a classic, one that was still in "as original" condition. It was an MX-5.

Much the same as today I would of thought yes most car be either hybrid/electric and we see more use of driverless cars in cities but you simply cant remove 30+million cars from the road in that short a time scale.
Things havenet changed drastically much in 20 years cars are still cars etc etc.
