Lambo V12, Ferrari V8 or Porsche V6 into a Fiat 500.

Or into a 2CV

But remember, just because you can, doesn't mean that you should.

I have a soft spot for Skooby engined VW T25 campers. Also busa engined mini coopers.

But since this is money no object:
Porsche turbo VW T25 camper! (Jamie Oliver has a porsche aircooled T2 I believe)
Jaguar XJR V12 powered Land Rover, Here:

I dont see why you'd change the S2000's engine. That engine is peach, it just needs to go in a car which weights a few hundred kilo's less!

Back when I was a teenager I always said Id put a F430 lump in my MG ZR!

4.7 Twin turbo V8 into a Granada.....oh wait, been beaten to it - http://www.autoblog.com/2012/06/14/koenigsegg-ccx-...

Also, the twin turbo V6 and accompanying 4WD drivetrain from a Mistubishi Legnum VR shoehorned in and made to work in a Mondeo ST24 shell.

I've had two of them and always felt the thing could do with more torque. Yes great sounding engine but I love the V8 too. cool

When I was a kid I saw some pics of a Sbarro Golf - Mk 1 Golf with a 911 engine in place of the rear seats. The whole bod could be lifted on hydraulics (even on the move) to show off the engine.

I also have a hankering to put a Golf R engine in an Amarok.

I seem to recall that one of the tuning companies put the V10 from an M5 into a 1 Series. It was accompanied by some questionable styling upgrades but if you could get rid of those and keep it looking as standard as possible, I think that could be a lot of fun.

An old Audi 2.1, turbo, 5 cylinder, highly tuned with straight through pipes in a B5 RS4. I'd only want to do it for the exhaust note if I'm honest

Not exactly a 'money no object swap', but a hilarious one nonetheless.

BTCC spec Honda K20 in the back of an S1 Exige.

Fully blue printed S2000 engine on throttle bodies in an AE86 Corolla.

M5 V10 in an E46 M3, it's been done but it's just awesome.

2JZ Supra twin turbo lump in a GT86.

9.0lt 1,650bhp twin turbocharged Mercury Marine V8 into a Dodge Charger.
your post does not do that justice.
A '70 Charger with Functional carbon panels, custom chassis, huge brakes, an interior that wouldnt look out of place in one of italys finest, one off projector headlamps, a one off grill made from aluminium billet AND a 9 liter 1650bhp dohc v8. its the pinnicle of cool.

A 1000cc sports bike V twin in a 2CV or I'd really like a Jazz with a K20 and the required braking and suspension, but no outward signs.
