Not strictly on topic but can anyone explain why the same engine in the Abarth Spider produces 10bhp less than the 595 180 Competizione?
Yes! The 124 engine is the 1.4 Multiair with its fangled variable inlet system while the Abarth versions of the 500 use the more straightforward T-Jet version. As for the reasons why the former produces less power then the latter I'm not sure but they're a totally different head so I guess that may have some impact. If anyone knows more and would care to expand feel free! Thanks,
Dan

The MX5 will rust out before the Fiat so for long term ownership Fiat gets my vote
??? My 1990 MX5 has virtually zero rust, however it has been a long time since I have seen any 1990 Fiats on our roads??? And I am quite sure it would have been rusty.....Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
