i take your point thumbup

i'd have the 1st M5 as it's got half the mileage and it's 3 years younger - for the extra 4k.

As part of a programme to assemble an M5 Gruppe, this could well be a singularly wonderful punt: devil may care, risky as hell but loin dumpingly compelling.

Just think, this, then a semi risky first ed '34 model for £5-6k et voila: approx £12k later and a brace of schnellfest, unlikely ever to be bettered ito simply preposterous vfm.

I'm back on the hunt... Realize!

Personally I think that E28 is a no-go.

'Word on the street has it that the SB32(?) engine will only be good for 200k max before a seriously expensive (i.e. £5k) re-build.

IMO you'd be better going for this one:
