the previous comments saying "great photo" had me worried in an Emperor's new clothes way, that I was being a dick.

It's the B4560, between Beaufort and Llangynidr in Brecon Beacons National Park.

One of my favourite roads ever, and where Tiff Needell test drove the Griff 500 on Top Gear in 1993.

The idea of the article was the Griff/Chim/Cerbera family tree.

So the cars are, Griff 4.0, Chimaera 450, my Griff 500 and then the Cerbera (that's why it's got the Chimaera front rather than the later Tuscan type front)

Wicked day and I can recommend volunteering to anyone the next time they ask. We got quite good at that hairpin that my car's rounding in the second picture, I think we went round it six times hehe

Ace - pleased to see TVR's getting some well deserved monitor space.

Some nice comments on this thread too.

These are all fantastic cars and it is such a shame that they are no more as they were excellent value for money and cars that stirred the emotions more than most. I had a Chimaera 500 in Blue Magnetique and Prussian Grey/Navy Full Hide interior. It had the Griff 500 wheels which really suited it and there was an incredible soundtrack as it had a sports exhaust. I really miss it and there is not a day goes by that I do not wish I still had it. Due to the recession and the collapse of my business there is no way I could afford to keep her on the road. TVR's are still the best £ for £.

Got to be some of the nicest lookong cars of all time, especially the Cerbera. I remember getting taken out in a 4.5 litre Cerbera about 10 years ago, and it made the previous fastest car i'd been in (a Toyota Supra uk spec TT 6 speed) seem slow.

Stunning photo's and beautiful cars..

TVR is a true British car..

If there is one marquee that you you have got to own in life apart from a few others is a TVR..

A truly sad day when the company went thru a couple of years back..

I'd love to see the TVR brand come back to life..

It's the only car I have ever owned where the public looked on and said out loud 'look a TVR'..

I can still remember the smell of leather and fibre glass..

I have that video on tape if anyone wants a copy - I can still remember him saying "with enough luggage space for a continental cruise"!

On the strength of Tiff's feature I bought my first Griff 500 in 1994 and then went on to buy FOUR more... Yep five in total. Don't regret it for one bit. Just regret selling my last new sunset yellow pearl one... sniff.....

I think they stopped us in the end as we were getting good at it. I was smoking my wheels biggrin
