I guess the sacrilege bit is refering to the car not having the original Enzo engine in it. I bet its some dirty great yank V8. I wonder what engine it is.
Other than that i think it looks pretty standard.

Including new twin turbos for the original engine

a new nosecone designed to keep the car (not!) flying straight and level
I'd have thought Ferrari would have had their car pretty well sorted and that the initial accident was more due to a driver running out of talent rather than the aerodynamics being flawed...Anyway, good effort with the rebuild, keep safe out there in the big open area.

Funny enough, I read an article a couple of weeks ago by Mark Hales that basically explained his suspicion of the Enzo suffering from aerodynamically induced understeer. If you look at the air gap at the front of a standard car it's not too difficult to believe

I have raced on the Salt and getting to 200MPH is lot harder than simply putting ones foot to the pedal. For a start the runs are timed by FIA accredited officials and doing that speed on the motorway is different thing(especially if your only speed indication is your speedometer) .You also have to maintain the speed over a measured distance and just keeping your car straight with the back end continually trying to overtake the front and the tires slipping on the salt is hard enough but you have to keep your engine alive.
The best part is that land speed racing is for everyone from the megarich to those like me who scraped together used parts and made stuff but still managed to run as fast as possible .
I admire this guys effort although it's hardly the first Ferrari to run on the Salt ,there was even a buggatti Atlantic coupe run on the salt in the 50's...
