...I have just put a quote through and to have a 12 month warrenty that covers what seems like everything is £350, and that says it covers both parts and labour via the franchised dealer.
If you've put your correct details in then Warranty Direct will call you in a couple of days and they'll do virtually anything to get you to take the policy. As you also have to option to cancel in full within 30 days I called and hummed & harred about it I got all the optional things included, ICE, CAT etc etc, excess zero'd, wear and tear reduced to 45 days (apparently they'll often zero it of you're coming straight from another warranty). Also the online system sometimes offers 13mths for the price of 12 and I got this as well.

I'm not a fan of extended warranties but I've got a Merc and the water cooled alternator failing could cost a grand, COMAND nav unit is £3K etc, so it wouldn't take much to get my money back. Having said that, the one issue I have had is fuel pipe related and I know full well they don't cover that.
