You know why you can't bring yourself to fess up to the answer wink

I really enjoy my coupe and you know what it not being predicatable is what give it character and make driving at slower speeds more fun. I don't want to have to explore silly speeds to get to the edge.

The only issue for me for running a M is the servicing which is a joke over standard BMW fodder as it doesn't require a M specialist mech
I've always been into roadsters, I grew up with them, I don't understand why anybody would buy the coupe over the roadster, I just don't get it!

It does look awesome though, the cayman is an awkward pig in comparison (maybe that's the reason).
lol

I've owned both the Z3M Coupe and a Z4M Coupe, and also a Cayman S. The Z4MC was the best of all three in my view, I liked the fact it kept you honest and could try and put you through a hedge if you weren't careful. The Cayman was so predictable it was dull. Z3MC looked amazing but felt prehistoric.

Strangely though the only one I'd buy again is the Z3MC, I'd park it outside my window and just look at it all the time.

My Z4MC:

Z4M. Disappointing lack of go, engine management crisp & precise though.

Last sports car the M Division has built and a new one is not in sight! Isn't that attractive enough?
Mine's a keeper for that alone!

I say get yourself one of these and forget the coupe (!). Totally transformed (looks-wise anyhow) with CSLs.

A better drive than my old E46 M3 convertible, only downside is there is nowhere to put anything and the boot is a joke.

That wouldn't be difficult, I had an E46 M3 ruined by SMG box, ok on the open road (save engine management was too full on in the nanny dep't) fking useless in town, wker 20" rims that completely ruined the ride and interior finish was terrible, I had wear on the leather finish of the seat bolster in less than 2000 miles.
I will never buy a BMW again.

The Z4M roadster yes, this... well actually I'm quite surprised, and pleased, that BMW would would manufacture something this fringe-dwelling and quirky - but no.

I love the CSLs, and had them on mine, but it's something of a novelty to see them on the standard 18s these days - quite refreshing, and they look purposeful.

I reckon CSLs and aeroskirts is how they should have left the factory!

The standard rims look lost, CSL's look awesome, preferably toned down in a graphite colour.

I'm with you entirely.

CSLs make it look like a cartoon car that a 9 year old has drawn.

agreed, csl's are just way too big for the car & although initially not keen on the design of the standard rims i'm mopre than happy with them now

I am torn, i have the standard wheels on mine but i think they look lost & i love the look of the csl`s, i love the design of the standard wheels alot though & i would imagine the 19`s make the ride interesting!

I think if i had the money & some csl`s came up i would certainly put them on it.

I think the reason the CSLs may seem large to some is down to the profile of the original tyres - which would be more at home on a haulage vehicle IMO.

I am an expert in pothole dodging since the CSLs were fitted - the standard tyres offered far more comfort and protection for the wheels. That said I prefer the looks so happy to compromise, but each to their own. Let's face it, they hardly have Bentley-esque ride quality even with 18's.
