For a classic sound the 59 Testarossa in the Victory by Design video does it. Can't find a link.

A dream car would be a California, with more rear seat room, the exhaust set up, power and sound of a Novitec FF.

Excellent topic and yes YouTube acceleration and exhaust searches are a good base for buying a performance car.

Hard to beat the F355 and it's probably my favourite Italian. Countach in the Canonball Run films with the lycra girls is quite excellent also.

British - Aston Martin's definitely beat TVR imo.

Germany - Carrera GT is incredible, sounds like an old F1 car!

American - Anybody heard the Corvette's at Le Mans?! Jesus!

Agreed. The 355 sounds simply phenomenal with these pipes on. I recall a PHer in a 355 Spider with a particularly fruity exhaust gassing it away from Virginia Water a few years ago and the sound it made was just beautiful.
