I've been reading her tweets. The woman is just a pure nutter. No remorse no doubt that she was anything other than correct with her article.
I am totally amazed.

The "victim" fine is all wrong, why should we pay for his wilful damage through our insurance premiums, also why has he been allowed to live on benefits for so long

Hang em flog em etc, but there is no reason why someone able bodied enough to breed cannot work.

I was talking to someone on benefits and by the time we factored in housing benefit and all sorts of other handouts; if you assume it costs you£5:00 per day to get to work she would have to be earning in excess of £19,000 pa to break even.........shirley something wrong

Can I ask you all to have a look in your contacts list/address book and email anyone you know who is in an industry that advertises in local newspapers such as estate agents, car dealers etc, ask them to check on this link

http://www.newsquest.co.uk/portfolio/our-titles/

If they are buying ad space in any Newsquest titles ask them just to pull their advertising for a week or two as I and others have done and explain why.

Hopefully it will result in exit of said, and I use the term loosely "journalist"

The best I can find is this

Tracey Olaleye, Head of HR, Newsquest Media Group 01932 821212

I think if you contact them and ask for a "chairmans office" email address he will see it.
Thanks. I've emailed my account manager in the north west who is passing it on higher up the line. To ensure a reply i've cancelled my first two october adverts which are both half page full colour so dont come cheap.
I drove to Waitrose in my 430 last night (I needed some Quinoa). Following the article, I seriously thought about whether it was wise at the moment with what I saw as incitement/encouragement to key my car.

Edit - (after checking edvertising spend)
Looking at that list, we take space in their publications (Tens of thousands £ per annum). I will do what I can to reduce the spend for the foreseeable future.

Quinoa
Grain
Quinoa is a species of the goosefoot genus, a grain crop grown primarily for its edible seeds. It is a pseudocereal rather than a true cereal, as it is not a member of the true grass family.

Save a lot of googling.

With all this advert cancelling going on I do wonder how much value you actually derive from them. After all if the advert results in income generation I'm supprised that so many are so quick to start pulling them. You must be in a good position to be able to make such a financial decision over an opinion piece that in reality is best ignored.

I'm in an excellent position thank you.....which is why I am using to make a point.

My adverts are purely product placement so cancelling two ad's is hardly akin to shelving the carlsberg ad's for a year but hopefully if if enough of us take a stand then this deluded woman may see the error of her ways, well, her employer anyway.

Anyway, cant stop, got to back the 911 turbo out to nip down to waitrose for this rice stuff......hehe

Exactly. Apathy is not the response needed for antagonistic tosh like this.

What's worse, is Tarquin could resist opening the pot before getting home and spilt some down the side of the passenger seat. Tabitha almost knocked the "live ins" pan off the Aga when she heard the story.

N.B - never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Principles are great if you can afford them. A bit like whether or not you buy free range chicken or not biggrin

If it's not an issue then great. One less opinionated mouthpiece poluting the world with bks would be a good thing.
