Worried? You're a good driver so why was that? I wasn't worried at all, my body was . . .
I did see you step out slightly in that vid. pulling even more g's there were you? Or were the tires a bit off?
Hehe, you must still be recovering from the shock Dink! You weren't at the Spa track day, remember?I did see you step out slightly in that vid. pulling even more g's there were you? Or were the tires a bit off?
That was another passenger and she also came over all emotional after the event. Although I think that was more due to her being unaware that Phil was also invited to the party and hadn't merely rudely gatecrashed!
The slide out of Bus Stop was just playing to the camera, the tyres were still good.
Amazing those tires then. Top advert me thinks!
I was allright after an hour btw.
What I've learned that weekend: speed is not really my thing. Although I'm a swift driver myself - passengers hold their seats - it's the beauty of things that matter to me. I really loved some great lines I've seen at the Spa track, enjoyed the sounds of the engines and most of all: what a great spirits those PHers are!
That's what matters, way over brutal trackday driving. Fun experience though

The Boxster pulled hard to the left and slowed. The Ferrari slowed, indicated and pulled to the left. Plainly I'd prefer to pass on the correct side, my irritation with the Boxster driver was largely directed at him appearing to "offer" the wrong side after following him for several corners. He knew I was there because I saw him look in his mirrors. Nevertheless, thanks for your concern.
Provisional date for next years 6 Hours: 26 to 28 September.
A black Jag . . .
. . . and another one.
Phil's last lap . . .
. . . before Gracee took over the seat. Completely different stylee: easier to snap that's for sure. Phil aims before turning in so it's pretty hard to catch him because you don't know which line he wil choose. David slides into the hairpin the same way everytime. How convenient!
D-types lap at 3:10.
Wyndham (3:03) won class 5. Not only the fastest E but also the most beautifull.
Fiat 124 Sports Coupe (3:28) was a bit of an oddball. Fine little thingy though.
Froud's GTD lapped fastest 3:05. Isn't it amazing that's 2 secs slower than the 10 years older Healey?
Look at the front wheels!
Don't loose it here Mark!
More to come . . .

A few of the Formula 1 cars. Christ did these thing move and the sound and smell was just amazing...
A lovely Aston parked up near Phil's pit area. It was nice to see these cas actually beeing used and not just polished every other weekend. The noise from some of these was beyond belief !!
A couple of Phil in action...
Damn photo bucket is still playing up so all my pictures are going to come in dribs-and-drabs so stay tuned as there's loads more to come !

Postcard: greetings from SpaF.
The winner - errr - because the safety car fecked up. Would you believe it's early october here? The amount of sunlight was a photographers challenge . . .
. . . The contrast between dark and light is a bit firm. The contrast between the big and the small cars as well! La Source looks quite a challenge for the big ones. Smaller cars simply lack the power to get past in a dramatic way.
Gracee thundering past. What's the story of the taped number? Everyone seems to have their own typography . . .
Glorious E, note the leather straps to hold the bonnet.
Just leave the paint! A close look at these cars and you'll soon see there's no gracious and nicely fitted panels here. All looks jigsawed and hammered together. Love that!
Big V8 Aston nr. 3 wins overall.
Mr. Blue lifting a frontwheel here. First brake hard (rear wheel almost lifts) then turn in hard (front wheel almost lifts) then stamp and hope the whole thing follows the chauffeurs instructions. LS doesn't look easy.
Same as with the E-types: I'm not particulary fond of these cars but in racing trim:
Please tell me when you get bored.

I'm not sure it's worth posting up any of my pics after that lot
I'm finally home, here's my pics from everything upto the GP masters race:
Our adventure begins...
Does that mean we shouldn't drive up there, oops!
TC taking his hat off everyone that can put up with him
