T for Tiptronic.
Pretty sure the B8 S4 has a dual clutch S-Tronic?
Yes, sorry, drink was involved. I was being argumentative.

I'm torn between putting this here or in the bad parking thread (the guy clearly wasn't disabled and didn't have a blue badge

You made the right choice as it isn't badly parked.

How about a 2.8 V6 CTS with a V8 badge

All S4's are misbadged from Audi factory, it's a supercharger ffs!

Technically you dont need an exhaust turbo to turbocharge an engine, a supercharger (belt driven compressor) turbocharges an engine as well, hence, Audi are unsurprisingly technically correct by giving it a T for turbocharged in the name.

I thought it was the other way round - a turbocharger should technically be called a turbo-supercharger.
Thats my understanding. Turbochargers are a specific type of supercharger, ie drive and compressor are both turbines

Got it. Audi are using T in the badge to represent any form of forced induction.

(Did someone say that already?)

That depends if it's private land or not but either way it's parked inside the bay so not badly parked smile

Selfish, ignorant and maybe illegally parked but not badly.

Selfing, ignorant and illegal are all bad things to most people.

Totally agree but it's still not badly parked so as far as I'm concerned it doesn't belong in the bad parking thread. There's enough petty pictures that don't belong in that thread already without getting more.

Oh dear, but in fairness I did take the picture a couple of months ago so it could've been transferred.

Someone's going to have to explain this one to me.

I sort of understand the guy who re-badged a Citreon as Audi, or a 318i as an M3. I think it's pathetic, but presumably they're hoping people will think it's an Audi (or an M3)

But I spotted this today...

He's re-badged his C Class 4 door saloon as a CLK 2 door coupe.

Thing is, anyone who knows what a CLK is will know that that isn't one.

And anyone that doesn't isn't going to care anyway as it won't mean a thing to them.

So what's the point? biggrin

No picture but I've seen a) the same or b) two different Skoda Felicia Fun(s) (the yellow pick up thing) in London and Devon with VW badges front and rear. Shame really, one of the best things to bear the badge, should be worn with pride. It's nice to see one that hasn't been put to work on a farm though.
Sure it wasn't a Type 9U Caddy?

Basically, a factory rebadge job of the Felicia Fun...

It's actually 400cc bigger than the badge says?

Anyone following when that "let's rip" with all those hidden 400cc will be amazed!
