115bhp Astra badged as a 90bhp version? What a sleeper!

Seeing all these misbadged E36 and E46 3 series models has made me wonder if people think my car is the same. The 4 door M3 E36 saloon looks exactly like any other late E36 with the exception of the tailpipes and rear valance.

'VTR.... well, GTR is close enough' hehe

Saw a Polo today with an R badge on the front. I'm aware there is a Polo R, but this one had a tiny single exit exhaust and looked remarkably...base model hehe

Has this had an interesting engine conversion or is it simply a 1.8 badged as a 1.4?

I've got a good one, I give you the CLA63 AMG!

It wasn't even a CLA45 probably a diesel.

Brand new so not short of a bob or two, why not get something actually interesting rather than embarrass yourself everywhere you go?

I thought it was going to be a 2.0 turbo at least.
After looking at the profile I think it's the latter.....

? Not really, front and rear bumpers, mirrors, wheels, interior, ride height and side skirts.

Fair play to them, if I walked past that in the street I don't think I would be able to tell it apart from a real one. Only the brakes really give it away!

Theres one of these kicking about int Craiova, Romania. Fair play it took me a while to realise it wasn't the real McCoy. Looks really good. But still... No.

Saw a 58 plate 320d with "SE" put on before the 320d badge, it wasn't even on straight! Still better than the typical ///M badge.

Someone's going to have to explain this one to me.

I sort of understand the guy who re-badged a Citreon as Audi, or a 318i as an M3. I think it's pathetic, but presumably they're hoping people will think it's an Audi (or an M3)

But I spotted this today...

He's re-badged his C Class 4 door saloon as a CLK 2 door coupe.

Thing is, anyone who knows what a CLK is will know that that isn't one.

And anyone that doesn't isn't going to care anyway as it won't mean a thing to them.

So what's the point? biggrin
Torquay!!!!
