I agree. I think it is probably the best sounding car ever.

I had a 83 GTV6 once that was also musical, but the 355 at 8000 rpm makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck.

(The 355 does indeed sound wonderful. I've spent a lot of time driving a 355 with a Challenge grill. Sounded great, but not when you are already suffering from a bit of a headache. Plus I was living in Central London and always felt a bit guilty turning up at home late in case I woke the any of neighbours... there was no stealth mode besides trying to avoid revs when parking.

Actually all that screamy stuff sounds enormously annoying to me.
Just like 4-pot sportsbikes with modified exhausts.... I just hate the sound of that.
I don't want a car that sounds like an angle grinder.
