My E46 330i just hit 175k and I reckon it should hit 200k if the rust doesnt win.

200,000 miles is pretty easy. I have an 85 BMW 745i and it's about to hit 300,000 miles.

Picked up this 1.9 TDi Passat yesterday, 280k on the clock

Drives surprisingly well but is woeful at keeping rainwater out - typical ageing VW really!

Still going, but now I've reached the figure, time to move on (when I've worked out what next).
Are the various checking websites (Inc DVLA) very plate sensitive? Is there an option to check in another way (if I can find some details?).
If not, it died pretty soon after I got rid - a little bit frown. It could have done so much more!

My 2001 330Ci Coupe, owned from new reached 201k last year. I bought a Boxster S and have been driving that since, but 2 weeks ago the Boxster was destroyed in a collision due to a blind taxi driver, so I shall be going back to the BMW until I find another replacement.

Should be easy !

Our W202 C180 Petrol that is on 280,000 miles with Original Engine and Original Gearbox

It only gets better when you consider, it reached that mileage on Asia Dirt track roads (UK export in 2004)

It does have a little sluggish response now, Thinking of getting a donor car, to refresh it, so it can plough on for another 10years!
