65k a year is mental.

How can anyone have the sanity for that!

Averaged out it would be 180 miles a day. Every day.
There's a thread on here where there's a fella who does 90k per year as he's a long distance Taxi driver. Does medical transfers and such for people who are too ill to fly.

Broken down by MOT history as:

Jan 2010 - new
Feb 2012 - 40,372
Feb 2013 - 145,400
Feb 2014 - 240,137
Jan 2015 - 303,762
Jan 2016 - 380,782
Now - 445,422

Particularly intrigued by this damage on the door - could that be wear from the driver's elbow that did that...?

Not on the seller's normal website but found it on Ebay - currently sitting at £123 with the reserve not met!

"Busy dad", heh.

That looks utterly shagged. Interesting to see how different bits of the interior have worn though - the wheels and seats looks surprisingly ok while the gear knob looks ruined and there's that elbow hole in the door.

Yes, I think that is down to the elbow. I looked at a few Octavias and they had the same issue, the roll top slowly gets pushed in over time by the weight of the elbow then the plastic cracks and this is the result.

Still reserve not met at £515 - what do we reckon it's worth because I think it's hitting its ceiling already!!

It's probably still worth more than that in bits though

£1500 reserve it seems wink Not worth that imho. Think of the damage it must have received at a year old to write it off... its a pig.

It actually doesn't look too bad for what must be about the hardest 450k miles possible! Completely agree about pricing though, currently at £600, someone will part it out and sell everything as 120k miles!

I cant believe its a manual. The man must have such a huge left leg.

Why wouldnt cabbies just get an auto? Reliability I presume?

Yep I think that's the most likely outcome here - it gets broken and the parts sold as much lower mileage than they are

I'd have it for £500 to use until the MOT runs out or it blows up but no more
