So here I am in my digs in Freshwater NSW, With cars parked both sides of the roads, it's a bit of a squeeze to get down the road, and at the end of the road is a turning circle, with posts indicating don't park past the post.

However, I saw this woman abandon her car here so she could nip into the house for something. Fortunately nothing came down the road, but why? Yes I know the majority of us could turn there, but larger vans etc,?

The other day I was driving down the same road looking for a space, I see a woman get into her Jeep on the left hand side of the road (you have to park with the traffic flow here), so I pulled up waiting for her to pull out and drive to the turning circle to turn around, thus letting me in.

But oh no, silly moo pulls out, makes a 10 point turn using her neighbours driveway, then finds she is facing me, with not enough room for me to go into her space. So she makes the god awful reverse to make room for me, I was half waiting for her to hit another car, don't think reversing suits her.

Assuming you parked second - good work.
Although you could have been a little closer - he might still be able to get in!

Yep. In all seriousness I couldn't have parked much closer without risking balancing the tyre on an inch or so of curb and risk it slipping off and banging into his car.

He was mega precious about that Audi and parked like that on purpose so that no one could park next to him. The car park was massively oversubscribed. I started at 9:30 and this space was frequently left as most people wouldn't attempt it. The car to the right was a pool car that hadn't moved for 5months as well!

The best bit though was that I ended up taking a pool car home and left early so when he came round in a steaming rage to get me to move I wasn't even there. biggrin

He was a big chap and had to struggle over from the passenger side, he didn't park like that again though! smile

That has made my day. It's nice to see the knobs learn a harmless but well needed lesson.

Audi drivers and selfish parking seem to go hand in hand on here lately. What does the note say inside the rear screen?
Could have reversed park and got out me thinks.

Driver apparently said "My car was only parked in that position next to the car for a matter of minutes whilst I went to the newsagents."

Doesn't gel with her statement, either way, don't matter, he is a tt of the highest order.

She's not exactly blameless, though - car not parked straight in the box, front wheel not far from the line, steering still on lock...
Anyway, why would a be-suited, flash, 25-year-old Audi driver park in a multistory (necessitating use of a ticket machine) when only popping to the newsagent, when there's presumably a nearby disabled bay, double-yellow (hazards on, naturally) or pick-up-bay he could have dumped the car in for "only a few minutes"?
Wow! you see things I can't, do you have x-ray vision.

smile
Nope, but the other pics on the website give a different view...

She is within the white lines of her space, Mr. tt isn't, no contest.

This woman was sat at the give way line outside my local chip shop with her brakes on.

So lazy she couldn't be arsed to park a few feet up the road, couldn't be bothered to put her hazard lights on so other people would at least know she was parked and too thick to know how how a censored hand brake censored works. furious

It's one of those days I'm glad I'm not a cop because she would now have a summons for due care and consideration. Blocking a junction to a blind bend.

All the cars I've ever owned have ended up with dirtier front wheels due to brake dust, this Beetle owner must do a lot of handbrake turns!
