Interesting thought, horrific it may look but there weren't any serious injuries and Vatanen went on to win that rally(I think - source: http://hyppyrally.blogspot.co.uk/2010/12/history-o... - it was the Santos accident the following year which was the bad one). I'm of the school of thought that sometimes a shocking picture may actually help educate the rally spectator. I've seen many 'plonkers' running in front of me on a stage and in really stupid places that the odd 'shock tactic' may help.

Again, happy to delete if the original is taken down.

Apologies if the photo caused offense. As Ranger6 said, no fatalities resulted, which I was aware of when I posted the shot. I would never post anything depicting death or serious injury, as I think that it would be in poor taste and pretty disrespectful. So happy for pic to be deleted
