Just which Bentley are these Chryslers supposed to look like? I don't get it.

I think they're supposed to look like a Continental Flying Spur. It's not that close if you ask me though:![confused](/inc/images/confused.gif)

Definitely the AMG Line thing, lad I know clocked I had got a Mercedes and said he had just got his, asked me why I hadnt got an AMG version, then said how fast his diesel one is, apparently non "AMG" ones arent as fast and everybody knows that, not remotely bothered but I just enquired to how the 200 plus bhp deficit made it faster, apparently its because its an AMG and it is lighter....

"But I dont get it, why cant my AMG get past a corsa?"Someone I know had their new Peugeot 108 vandalised by someone putting a brick on the roof. It's left a 1"x1" dent in the roof with the paint scraped off, and predictably has already bloomed with surface rust. I've very strongly advised her to get it repaired, or at least cleaned off and repainted. "I can't afford it" she replied....... I wonder then how she's gonig to be able to afford a new car/ subtantial welded roof repair when it rusts through completely (which won't take long given the thickness and quality of steel in a 108 roof) and leaves her with an interior that fills with water every time it rains

"Baby Bentley wedding car" gives me chest pains
That is utterly cringeworthy. "Baby Bentley wedding car" gives me chest pains
More like Tesco Value Bentley!!
You'd think the knowledge of the lads at a secondhand car sales yard would stretch a little way beyond dodgy old cars. When I was delivering a car to the yard one on Friday of them said he would ask his customer to move his scooter as it was in the way. The 'scooter' was an all over yellow Triumph Daytona.
A few years ago I had just bought my m3 and parked it at work. One of my colleagues came over and commented about it
Her - "ooh, nice car! Is it fast?"
Me - "aye, it's not too shabby "
Her - " I bet it's not as fast as my new car though..."
Me - " err, ok, what are you getting?"
Her - "a 325 msport "
Me - "nice. you do realise that msport is only a trim level though, not a performance upgrade, and the engine in that one has a lot less power?"
Her - " but mine's an msport, that's just an m3!"
Me - "enjoy your new car"
I bet the salesman had a field day with her!!

That sounds more like a wind up of their customer, maybe someone they know. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

The AMG Line/M Sport thing really winds me up.
My ex-boss a few years ago ordered a new C220d with AMG Line kit; he would tell everybody it was an Mercedes AMG, even when I explained that it wasn't an AMG at all. He couldn't get his head around it, "but it has AMG carpets and stuff..."![rolleyes](/inc/images/rolleyes.gif)
Unfortunately, it extends to people that really should know better as well. A mate of mine has just received his C220d AMG Line estate and continuously refers to it as 'the AMG'. He's not a massive petrol head, but he is reasonably clued up. He can't get his head around why my C350e hybrid is a lot quicker than his 'C-Class AMG'...
I really wish Mercedes, BMW and Audi would come up with a better way to clearly distinguish the halo models against the 'style' brigade; but I suppose they sell more bodykits this way....
