-New layer of original image
-remove all colour (ctrl, shift, U)
-image, adjustments, variations then add and change colours as you want
-use lasso tool to remove areas you want back to the original colour leaving body work a new colour

Slightly OT but Immense job, well done.

That's a Corsa I'd actually really want ago in, would be like an epic FWD cart.

Why can I see a backdoor? Am I on drugs?
Glad it's not just me that thought the same. And, just because there is no door visible doesn't mean there isn't one - does it?
Of course they're might be door off picture but Hopper left it out on purpose. A normal brightly fluorescent-lit cafe in New York at night work normally be welcoming, but it is not. There is no way to enter it, the backdoor is just a door into the kitchen for staff presumably. The extreme brightness means that the people inside are held, exposed and vulnerable. They hunch their shoulders defensively. It's supposed to be a metaphor for the extreme loneliness emptiness that can be found and seen in a busy city and even in one of the busiest cities in the world.

Yes, but is it art?

I like the one with the anteater. It represents the pent up anger in all of us.

And the desire to eat ants.

Couldn't agree more.
I believe the ants represent our own lesser forms, being consumed by our own greed.

I much prefer photoshoping cars like the iconic Aston rather than yet another Corsa, because it is such an absurd thing to do. There is a whole community of people who photoshop hot hatches or cars they own/dream of, but the Aston is so detached from reality, it just seems more fun.

The original Corsa looks like it was already photoshoped anyway.

I like this challenge, but I would prefer if the next car is either unique, iconic, a forgotten hero or just far out there. I'd also like it if it was a different colour to the background!

I agree with you. As for offering a challenge image of something you have already chopped, well that's a bit naughty smile

If I may be so bold, can I offer this classic as the next chop challenge?
