My works truck was just replaced on around 660k. Not that this is particularly exorbitant.

One of my old 850 Volvos had the mileometer stuck on around 260k. No idea what that had done.

222500 on my 2002 e46 330ci sport owned for nearly 14 years. Love it to bits. 28 service stamps in book. On the market for sale but reluctantly as part of the family.
241000 miles up now. Still going!
You’ve gone beyond the moon, that’s a mere 238,900 miles away hehe

Yeh. It was on 34 k when I bought it in 2004. Keep thinking of selling it but can't bring myself to-do so!

My dad had various cars he took to high mileage used them for taxi work. 2 Sierra’s 2.0 8v he took both over 200k one he sold on at 270k and the guy had it for a couple more years.
He also had 2 Mondeo’s, petrol 2.0 he took to 370k and a diesel 280k.

My Saab 9-3 Aero petrol is on 164k. Doing 25k a year so a while to go yet.

1994 Toyota 4Runner 3.0TD, now up to 221,000 miles and owned by me for 6 yrs and 100,000 miles

Nothing breaks, front brake pads needed replacing after 100,000 miles and I also replace a lot of stuff well before it wears out.

Passed the MOT last week after I refreshed/replaced the whole brake system, 1st gear synchro a bit worn but doesn't use a drop of oil so plenty of miles left in it

Not sure what I would replace it with as it does everything and more of what I ask from it

Photo taken in Slovenia up a mountain pass while out and about exploring which is a lot more fun than using it as my daily driver for work commuting

Quite right - the Vel Satis is a 2.0 Petrol Turbo. Probably your best hope if you want to achieve proper mileage!

378,000 kilometer 1986 Toyota Cressida.

It has only required 1 front wheel bearing, 1 rear axle bearing, 2 cam shaft oil seals, & 7 windscreens. It is now retired to paddock use.

Along with my Avensis (up the page) I now own a 2000 VW T4 Caravelle with 246k on the ticker. It’s utterly brilliant in every measurable way.
