Cannot get my mind off this car. Just recieved my new job contract, worked out over 5 years I can afford one.

No chance of buying though, would be financially crippled and the 16.4mpg just doesn't make sence with a 44mile roundtrip everyday frown

Oh well... One day. Until then I can keep dreaming.

This but I think I've remembered enough of what George Bishop used to suffer after he 'bought' a Gamma (CAR Magazine when it used to be a proper magazine) for me to stop that itch, maybe? http://www.legenda.co/

Exterior styling is superb, But the dash is like something you would find in a Peugeot...

I'm guessing you have never driven one then? Aston make by far the best looking interiors of any car this side of a Rolls Royce, and I have never had any issue with quality.

As for getting 16.4 mpg, It depends entirely where and how it is driven. Could get it fairly easily to high 20s if you are just driving on a motorway.

Not disputing the quality... just the look, its just not "special" Many everyday cars look better than this!

This today.
Saw one of those the other day, just a normal mid range estate, good looking cars those, inside and out. I like.

Not overly sure about the new corporate front end though. Have seen the advert for the Facelift 308 a few times now, can't decide whether I prefer it or ours... Definitel like the new LED DRLs though, but I rather liked the big shark gob!
I saw an estate one yesterday, which started my obsessing.

Saw one of these for the first time today. Obsessing time.

I can't think of an every day car where the interior looks better than this.

In E36 guise please.
In E36 guise?
What?
You want to convert that Mercedes into an E36 BMW? confused
He means the E36 AMG (W124 with the AMG 3.6), not the 90s BMW 3 Series!

Some tasty metal posted recently.

That Aston is on my 'Must Own' car list, anyway my obsession may be shot down in flames, but here goes anyway!

Before we can get any of the above cars mentioned we need a first car!

So this is what I'm thinking of as a first car as I'm 16

Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SRi Twinport.cloud9

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2011...

I'm not 'Obsessing' over it, but that's the car I'm thinking of for my first car.

Lets Torque... You don't get a 1.2 SRi. The SRi is a name reserved for the 1.4s IIRC, you mean an SXI smile

Ah thanks, I would want the 1.4 SRi. Do you know the difference between the Twinport and normal ones?
