I think your three hours late. Hi there,
As well as photographing the FIA WEC and ELMS events at Silverstone on Friday I also took the opportunity to have a wander around the track/paddock etc to see what interesting bits and bobs I could find. I know this is not in the true spirit of the thread, but you never know what you will see at Silverstone where as in London most of the stuff is a dead cert.
Here are some pics: -
Ford GT, one of two in the paddock and on track for the arrival of the Tourist Trophy
and the other one with gorgeous Matt Blue paint work
Also in the paddock a pretty Ferrari FF
Ok, perhaps I am a bit weird, but I really like the Aston Martin Cygnet
Very nice Audi A1 Quattro, this looked superb
Aston Martin Vanquish - there was also a black one which took to the track for the parade
Maserati Gran Turismo chased down by a Ford GT
Also headed over to the Porsche Centre to grab some pics
Not sure about this colour on a 991 though
997 GT3 RS heading back from the petrol station
Then in chronological order - 997 GT3 RS
997 GT3 MKII
997 GT3 RS MKII
997 RS 4.0
Lastly, these are still pretty new I think. Aston Martin Rapide S, I have to say its a big old thing !
Hope you like the pics.
Regards
Tim

Now the Jaguar gets us on the same page...well done; means you've got your eyes peeled!
Thanks, I do know my older and rare cars too as well as the flashy brand-new supercars and have loads of pics of rarities such as that Jag that most people wouldn't really look twice at.McAndy said:

Spotted a red F 458 in Homebase near Beverly / Kirkella / Swanland on Sunday. Reg was '4H'.....
And this is gorgeous, shame most people will be opting for the V8 rather than the V6 with the dual central exhaust like the original model......I can see a market for after-market exhausts here!
I spoke to one of the test drivers when I spotted one in Chippenham and he said that he actually preferred the V6 due to the noise at the top end of the rev range. And this is gorgeous, shame most people will be opting for the V8 rather than the V6 with the dual central exhaust like the original model......I can see a market for after-market exhausts here!
Saw this the other day - on a J plate.
(referring to the Ferrari, not the Audi!)
And another thing . . saw a Veyron driving through our village. Yes, really! It's only the second one I've ever seen. I was so busy looking at it I didn't even glance at the driver or get a proper look at the number plate. I think it started with PF09, though.

Well, its full number plate was J158RPR, which comes up on MyCarCheck as a Ferrari - and it looked like a Ferrari. The photo was just a quick snap from a windscreen-mounted camera-phone, so not the best quality. If you have suffered from stendhal syndrome as a result of looking at the photo, you have my sympathy.
Well you can change what a car is registered as, like that guy on Police Action Stop who's car came up as both an MR2 and a Murcielago on the PNC.
Visually it was a very convincing replica, although it was leaking slightly.. so mechanically a convincing replica too
(not because it's Italian but because it's a VAG and we all know how they like to fall apart )

The picture is a Ferrari Mondial - without a doubt and why would anyone want to make a replica of a Mondial?(referring to the Ferrari, not the Audi!)
