Second time I've spotted an F-type in Swansea down the marina. First was the V6S press car (the dark red one). This might be a press car too? VX plate. Not sure. Had a good look around. Looked stunning.
Rather like these.Go to 0:40, that sound! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbjrHIlFK2c

Mine is a ltd edition 7.0 litre to celebrate 20 years of HSV. ~130 made at $150,000 a pop.
The other is a new VF HSV GTS. 6.2 litres. About $90,000.
Umm, its not. Its a Series 3 GTS, the VF HSVs aren't even out yetThe other is a new VF HSV GTS. 6.2 litres. About $90,000.
Was told the new VE would be out in the next few months by the sales guy. Then I've spent all weekend watching the VEs racing.

You are right, sorry. Typing too fast and I'd like to blame iPhone auto correct. But it'd probably be a lie.

I've seen a few spotted on Just Commodores, but have yet to see one here in NZ. Although as they look very much like a Camry I may have seen one and not realised lolWas told the new VE would be out in the next few months by the sales guy. Then I've spent all weekend watching the VEs racing.

Spotted this at Donington yesturday, I must say its even uglier in person than onscreen.
How anyone could have actually thought "Yes, thats it, after hours and hours of design, this is it, the new face of Jensen. OK boys start making them, dont worry about focus groups."
ETA:
Its nearly as bad from the back:
But being a Lotus show, at least there were some nice bits of kit flashing about.
And hello to the guy who I got chatting to about the Mondial!

Every single line, crease and fold on that car is so completely and utterly wrong. A 'sports' car can be brutal or angular or it can be sexy and curvaceous. It can't be ugly and appeal to many. Ugly tree --> every branch and twig. twice. How anyone could have actually thought "Yes, thats it, after hours and hours of design, this is it, the new face of Jensen. This unique and well-known, Lagonda 4-door prototype was created in 1969 for the personal use of Aston Martin Chairman, Sir David Brown, and represented the first use of the Lagonda name since the demise of the Lagonda Rapide in 1964. Seven sought after production models with the single headlight followed in 1974-6This Lagonda remained registered with the factory until after Sir David Brown’s departure in 1972.
The next owner, an avid Aston Martin Lagonda collector, bought the car directly from the factory and it remained in his collection for 38 years until purchased by the current owner for his collection in 2010.
The car has been well maintained and benefits from a recent engine bay restoration. The car comes with a comprehensive and fascinating history file dating from its first sale by the factory. This includes press photographs and press releases and the transcript of an interview with Sir David Brown.
This is one of one! An opportunity to purchase a part of Aston Martin Lagonda history.

Apparently it comes with a Jensen branded ugly stick in the boot, for those occasions where you think it needs a quick beating.X-posting from my Hong Kong thread. These were taken on the way back from a 100+ supercar meet out at the airport this morning. Madness...

Whenever I see a Huayra all I can think about is how much it would cost to replace one of those wing mirrors. Pagani Huayra by Rupert Procter, on Flickr

I'm sure Octane ran a deep review of the car about four/five years back.
