Spotted this at Donington yesturday, I must say its even uglier in person than onscreen.
How anyone could have actually thought "Yes, thats it, after hours and hours of design, this is it, the new face of Jensen. OK boys start making them, dont worry about focus groups."
ETA:
Its nearly as bad from the back:

The panel fit was hilariously poor.

Absolutely. That's MP230/1. A 1/1.
I'm sure Octane ran a deep review of the car about four/five years back.
Octane (early 2004) dealt with a Series 1 model.I'm sure Octane ran a deep review of the car about four/five years back.
C&SC in 2011 talked about the unique Rapide "MkII" and MP230/1.
One of my all-time favourite.
Saw a Red Lamborghini Countach 5000S yesterday on the M3 as I was heading to Bournemouth, it was the first one I have seen in the flesh and it was absolutely beautiful. Also spotted in and around Bournemouth/Poole/Sandbanks 2x 458`s in red and grey, RR Phantom in white, Aston DB5 in green, 430 Spider in black, Maclaren SLR 722 in black, 4 or five R8`s inc a GT, many GTR`s, Porsche 4.0 RS, Mercedes Black, my first Jag F-Type and a ton of Overnfinch Range Rovers etc.
It was a great day in all!
Edit: oops, forgot the Ferrari 330 GT in dark blue on the m25 too.

Saw the F type today aswell. I think the guy who drives it works for JLR, there was a burnt orange F type down there a couple of months ago, and a bit before that, a new Range Rover, but with no Range Rover badges, Photo was taken 25th August so good while before it was launched. And probably a couple of years go there was a then unlaunched XJ, but unfortunately no photos, Im waiting for him to show up in the turbine/hybrid thing (its name eludes me)

Same guy possibly? That's the one used in a lot of the early press vids. Also down the marina.

Second time I've spotted an F-type in Swansea down the marina. First was the V6S press car (the dark red one). This might be a press car too? VX plate. Not sure. Had a good look around. Looked stunning.
Is it only me that thinks the arse end was nicked off an Alfa spider?Saw a couple of F types on the M6 last Thursday, noise was great, car not that memorable.

But being a Lotus show, at least there were some nice bits of kit flashing about.
And hello to the guy who I got chatting to about the Mondial!

X-posting from my Hong Kong thread. These were taken on the way back from a 100+ supercar meet out at the airport this morning. Madness...
