Sorry, there was a thread a while back about why everything seems to reflect upside down on the rear of BMW 1 series (the reflection of the chap taking the photo illustrates this rather well)

Light resto job looks like to me. Proabably some money in it for the right person. (Wheeler Dealer style)

Interesting creation that I spotted over the weekend in Exeter.

I'd be interested to know how that works - no rear window?

(Sorry for image quality, It's been zoomed a fair bit)

I wonder also if the rear window and rear steel bulkhead have been removed to turn it into a quasi-estate car or if just the bootlid has been removed making it more of a dual-cab van. Weird, never seen anything like it.

Perhaps if it is/was a baur conversion you could roll the back window down to gain access to the rear 'shed'

Bizarre no matter how you look at it especially when E30 tourings aren't exactly a well kept secret.

That looks like a fibreglass parachute on the back - can it move itself forwards when the wind is blowing?

I suggest his manager denies any future requests for holiday.
