Which "stealth" fast car ?

Which begs the question... Why two? Did something happen to the first one?
Sold the first one as it was proving to be difficult to run and insure such a car at the age of 22. The second one had a few more issues than I expected, didn't do my homework when buying it and got stung by the seller so it was sold on for parts. I'll probably end up getting another one as I like them so much.cjb1 said:
OK, it's not straight out of a VX showroom but it is kinda fun, my lads "1.2" Corsa SXi+ just lowered a bit, nice wheels and knocking out in excess of 270BHP, wolf in sheeps clothing that scares the crap out of VXR's, Type 'R's, 'ST's and the like.
Not a 1.2 is it? Probly doesn't even have the same engine. We can all throw another engine in and make a st car fast in a straight line, cus thats what ya lads corsa is lol.doogz said:
I love how you stoat about this forum slagging everyone elses car, driving what you do.
Tastes of iron.
Glad i amuse you. When i get it mapped it's gonna be rapid innit.Tastes of iron.
So ive not got a point then? Don't think including modified cars let alone engine swapped cars is right for these Q car threads, as it's pretty obvious.
Also you love following me around don't ya?

Sure, rapid
I disagree with your point. Although more than that, I disagree with the way you make it.
Looking at that, I certainly wouldn't have guessed it would do 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Don't think it's 'pretty obvious'
Boo hoo, don't like it, don't comment on it then. It's a still a old corsa i.e st.I disagree with your point. Although more than that, I disagree with the way you make it.

Yeah, you're spot on, we just threw in another engine you bloody gonk!

Can you justify that in any way? Or is it just st, because you're a bit dim, and that's what you're saying? It's fast, and you wouldn't expect it to be fast. Kinda the point of the thread, isn't it?
For those of you who disagree, please g get a thesaurus (microsoft word is a good one)check the word stealth, it gives you Covert, check covert in the thesaurus, it says STEALTH, play thesaurus ping-pong all day, it will still tell you stealth is covert, crafty, secret, sneaky, concealed! Thanks Doogz

I mean, yes it's a modified corsa - far from my type of car, in fact I dislike modified hatchbacks in the majority of cases... but this one has obviously got more than the usual bodykit and bling wheels.
With all respect, I think that the Honda civic you drive is a bit erm... well, I certainly wouldn't spend my own money on it. But it's not my place to try to put you down because of your choice in car - why do it to someone else - someone who is obviously very proud of it?
It's not to your taste - scroll down to the next post. Would you stand in a car park and say to this chap that his sons corsa is st? You'd probably expect a punch in the face if you did.

I actually really like that, is there a more detailed thread on it somewhere? Not what I would personally buy, but it looks great fun.I am in two minds as to whether it belongs in this thread or not - I have seen many that look like it that are completely standard under the bonnet so it would surprise some, but on the other hand even Joe Public could tell it has been modified as it is clearly not standard.
Regardless, a lot of work has gone into it and I think it is very poor form people coming on here claiming it is st. Not to your tastes fair enough, but it is not exactly a Halfords special with cut springs and a nail through the exhaust. As the poster above said, you wouldn't go and say that to the owner if you saw him in person!
Moving on, I actually saw an E500 estate this morning. Looked exactly the same as a normal one (it didn't have the AMG kit on it) and the only thing that set it apart from an E270 CDI was the badge on the boot. Take that off, and no one will ever know. Love it!
