Do you think you two could take your pissing match to email?

FFS mods, shut this up there's nothing more to say on the matter. All you'll get from now on is the likes of the mud-slinging exercise directly above this post.

This is clearly a bit complicated for you. Anything PH endorses on its home page, it clearly states as much. Brett Fraser's home page story about the 205GTi is neither an endorsement of the author nor of the car. The views of contributors are not automatically the views of the publisher. The publisher - expressly, in its small print - does not guarantee the "accuracy, completeness, or truth" of contributions. It does not, therefore, "declare its public approval or support of" (i.e. endorse) contributions. Payment is not endorsement.

PH stumbled upon an interesting contributor. One perhaps not quite as 'interesting' as Ferrari Brocket, or Ronald Biggs, but certainly one that some of us may have seen in racing paddocks, on TV, or heard of because of his Ferrari-to-McLaren-prison shenanigans. If PH had sought Munroe out to feed him to the lions, that would have been amusing. If Munroe courted PH to feed himself to the lions that's double funny. I suspect the latter.

By all means, cast an opinion. But spare me your moral posturing, you don't know what you're talking about.
rofl Oh dear, we have got a high opinion of ourself haven't we?

Clearly PH didn't agree with you. byebye

I am not getting the outcry here! I missed the story yesterday and have just picked it up. So you don't like the story, as others have said don't read it! I don't remember the Munro story and would have loved to have read the rest, unfortunately it seems the soap box posters have dictated what we can all read. You didn't enjoy reading it, fine. Shame you feel the need to make sure the rest of us can't!

It just needs to written in a way that it tells the truth and he does not profit. Hopefully Chris will just put all 4 parts up on the forum. Munroe does not get paid and we all get to read his story. Everyone is happy!

Just seen this topic...

If Haymarket want exclusive, and are willing to make a suitable donation to the North West Air Ambulance, I'll happily finish the diary off, polish the foreward up and continue it (from a driving/impact on life perspective) up to the point I passed my retest.

I've needed a proper excuse to do it for a while and maybe this could be it.

I think this thread should be deleted, on the basis that I couldn't give a stuff what the guy did, but 'hiring Paul Young to promote a motor racing team' is absolutely sickening.

Did he sing 'wherever I lay my hat' when you took your helmet off in the pit?

Given what I have read before, and who some of the people on this board are, I would expect that if you were prepared to do that you wouldn't need Haymarket to offer the donation.

I was quiet enjoying reading it. Stuff like this does happen in real life, and i like to read how or why somebody would do it (and not for me to copy and do it myself).

Carry on please smile

jailed for a third time...

http://www.dailysportscar.com/2016/05/21/british-g...

....yesterday he was jailed for a third time, this time for six years, after it was discovered that he had again created a false cv and references to gain employment at Britain’s Energy Coast (BEC) before forging a loan agreement and purchasing a Jaguar road car with company funds.

Cox admitted six offences including committing fraud to get the job, obtaining money through fraud and four counts of transferring criminal property.

biggrin

Perhaps he just likes bars? Cocktail, gold, prison, soap.
When he gets out he should consider going into business with that Tesco/Customs fella.
