I saw that red Diablo on the A24 early Sunday morning, 100 IAN I think it was, looked utterly glorious. So much pretty metal there.
thumbup A bunch of us, including the red Diablo, terrorised the tourist sites of London before heading down to Cliveden. drivingbiggrin

It was a pleasure just to follow such a thing along some otherwise deserted country roads, shame it was just humming along effortlessly whilst I was wringing the B-Max's neck to keep within sight. Hehe.

A treat all the same to anyone with unleaded in their arteries.

I see very little difference between the AMG gullwing and an Eagle, in principle.

If that AMG had some custom made steel wheels, big enough to clear the brakes, or even alloys in a period style. I reckon everyone would be spaffing themselves over it.

Principle is similar. Execution is different.

The usage of the modern AMG trimmings ie wheels, interior et al spoils the package imho. The Eagle's (and the ones that we do) look very much like an enhanced car as opposed to a modified car if that makes sense.

Yep. Surprised they didn't put some effort into the wheels.

The Beacham Mk2 Jag hides its underpinnings better, but with both parts of the interior look ridiculously out of place.

Couch alert;

But this is how a Gullwing should look....

Kidston's black example is perfect

What it really needs is an engine note utterly dominated by the whine of a supercharger.

They're really naff (airbag wheel etc.), however well-engineered they are. Should have started with a replica.

They may be similar in theory but in practice they are hugely different.

The Eagle and the Singer 911s are closer imo

I'm gently rubbing myself hands:

Although the 'photoshop' is frankly appalling laugh

Non Clubby, similar miles, poorer spec and a good chunk more than I paid for mine 18 months ago.

Noticed this, gone up quite a bit. Should have got involved two years ago.

RS' is where the game's really at though. Entry fee too much 18 months ago; now gnat's whisker from unobtanium irked

Got a Viper Green RS? You'll want to observe the outcome of this one very closely then:

Possible, but who knows. Interesting to hear the outcome.

Anyone know what happened to the £80k CSL?
