You get some comedy examples down under as well. Now the bays in NZ are both longer and wider than UK examples, so even a big 4x4 or saloon can fit. Sadly, old Honda Civics seemingly can't:

The van driver had a left on the note of the mini, simply stating "LEARN TO PARK YOU tt"

Made my day biggrin
That in Milton Keynes? I think I know the driver of that Mini...
It is!!! Though the picture was taken a number of years ago - if the owner you know has had the car for a while please free to pass on a big warm pistonheads "regards" wink
It's my friends Mums car. Since repaired a few times from various incidents. Suprised?
You know what to do. Kick her back doors in.
If she was paranoid about getting her car pranged there are parallel spaces that I always park in right near there in MK's (where the old garden center was) that you have to pay for not the free green section.

That was intentionally parked like that, I would wager.

You go and spend (probably over) £150,000 on a car and it's not surprising you want to take care of it like that.

Cheers

(oh, and if you're gunna tell me that if they can afford that car etc etc etc, ps off! hehe)
Parking like that though makes it twice as likely to get keyed. I don't get it.
Maybe so, but the chances of your car getting a ding/dent is massivly higher than getting keyed. So even if you double the chance of getting keyed, it is still less likely to happen.

Cheers

How? Why? You own a decent car and you allow this?
I do have a defence..

I was parked next to Poledriver, so it's all his fault.

Turns out the woman in the 307 had put it in first instead of reverse (or other way round cant remember) and floored it over a small grassy ramp and landed in between the two cars.
Never got how its possible to do this...how many bad driver are there that put it in reverse then floor it out of the bay! If I was ever to start moving forwards instead of back (which has happened once, just after passing my test) I had time for a brew before I needed to consider slamming the brakes on to prevent getting slammed into the car opposite me in the bay...

And come back and find someone parked 3mm along side your drivers door laugh But the way some folk park these days, was it intention, or just another irriott who can't park.

yikes How the hell did she manage that? Looks like clutch control was an issue or she didn't know where the brake was eek

Wrote of BOTH gates at the same time - that must be a record considering they were ten feet apart and both open hehe

Not so much as a bad parking one, but today drove into Sainsburys Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, waiting for a car to pull out so I could reverse in, she had just loaded shopping in boot so would be off soon

Suddenly the car to my left about 2 feet from my near side starts to reverse out. yikes

Hand on Horn fast, and he stops, now for gods sake, how did he not see me behind him, I had been siting there for 4 - 5 mins already.

And going home southbound on the A90, almost up to 50, coz its a 70 stretch, car pulls out in front, doing around 50'sh, loads of room between her and the car she hopes to pass.

Stays in L2, couple of flashes from me, ZILTCH RESPONSE, follow her for about 2 miles, eventually put FULL BEAM ON (2.30 pm), e v e n t u a l l y she pulls over......

Sorry, rant over.

Popped to the local morrisons this evening, went and found a space with half a dozen empty spaces around me on both sides of the lane.

Came back to my car and some absolute spacktard had parked next to me about 8 inch from my passenger side so I had to reverse out before my mrs could get in. Granted had it been busy it would have been annoying but I could almost understand it, but the fact that there was that many spare bays and this tool decided to park so close to me. I even double checked mine to see if they'd manage to scratch it too.

Me yesterday:

Now about 8 feet further back. Not so much a lack of parking 'skill' but the fact that the ice is now so compacted I just can't get any further up. Just spent about 15mins, possibly a little more trying each and every way of walking up the drive without sliding back to the car in suit shoes on my face. Had to resort to removing shoes and crawling alongside the Peugeot which still hasn't moved using the wheels as foot holds to push off against!
