shouldn't that be a chav plate with the badge...? paperbag
There are laws governing certain exceptional cases.

I've checked and this one is fine; no further action required.
OH the relief

Errr.. wrong thread?
On what planet could that be a crappy plate?

For anyone called Billy that is the ultimate plate

Got to be a six figure value ( cra1g or m3 edge care to put a value on it)
As always, depends who wants it...but there are a lot of Billies out there and some will have the money to drive that right up. Not sure about six figures, but would go close. I'd even forgive that plate if it was mis-spaced (my small concession to perfect plates like this and CRA1G, although I know it will drive Jag Steve mad laugh but it even looks correctly spaced to me!

A few good ones in the Thames Valley today:
V 22 on an Evoque - must be an early plate?
PRS 1 on a Mulsanne.
SRP 1 on a Jag XF
A645 BMW on an appropriate car - 645ci Convertible.

Personal favourite of the day though was outside a rowing club in Henley:
ROW 1T on a Merc E Class.
V22 was issued in 1904 by Lanark. All low digit 'single letter first' plates are 1903 or 1904; conversely, the few 'single letter last' plates are all late 50s/early 60s as councils ran out of the standard selection.

Nice plate.

Personal opinion, but I wouldn't think its worth a great deal more than what they paid.
Reference the discussion on B1 LLY, I agree this must be a lot less due to less common name.

Interesting stuff, thank you. smile

With regard to "B1 LLY" it was sold at the first ever DVLA Auction in Dec 1989,As mentioned for £36,000 + VAT Etc.. As far as I am aware it has not been on the market since then.. IMO I think it could command a six figure sum with ease.. yes just by coincidence I see " G1 LLY" regularly in the next village to me and that sold in March 1990 for £70,000 + VAT Etc.. rolleyes

It's wrongly spaced, but not what I would call chav.

It is on a VW Up owned by a lettings company called Woo.

The plate (and how it was spaced)...

WO0 2 LET

I shall now withdraw to my internet Anderson shelter smile.

S500 GCG on a....?

Yup, Mercedes-Benz S500, seen yesterday in Sainsbury's car park, Watchmoor Park, Camberley.

(Yes, I know it'll be meaningless/worthless on any other car, but it looks good on that car right now)

Saw REG 1 on a Rolls Royce Phantom convertible on the M25 today and, as ever, didn't get a bloody picture!

an absolutely knackered Honda something drives around my area sporting the number plate: H1

No idea what the plate would be worth but the car it's currently on is an absolute shed. Will try and get a picture next time I see it
