Does anyone else feel a bit sorry for Ron?
Not in the slightestYou should try riding motorbikes and/or bikes yourself
Being on the thick end of generally crap driving with a little bit of bullying and threat thrown in for good measure isnt funny
As far as I can see the motorcyclists 'crime' was to wait for a gap before executing a right turn delaying that bloke (I dont know his name) by a matter of seconds yet bloke who's name I dont know thinks its appropriate to threaten to assault him
So no - not sorry at all, I wish every muppet who gave me what for on my commute was an internet celebrity too

His crime was overtaking someone then stopping and delaying that person by turning right. You should try riding motorbikes and/or bikes yourself

OK he lost his temper and said some things. His overtake into the side road wasn't the best (or the worst) but other than that it's just words.
So for this crime of being short of a few chill pills, like a good 50% or more of drivers, he's been singled out as a bit of a laughing stock.
On the one hand, he's only being given words back which seems roughly fair but on the other hand it seems not far off bullying.
And all for what? Someone on a moped was really good at pressing the guys buttons.

Anyone going that mental at someone else on the road needs bringing down a large number of notches and public humiliation is as good a way as any of doing that. He seriously needs to get on top of his anger issues.
Looking at his wife's impassive response I would guess this is far from the first time he's done it and probably won't be the last. Any normal woman would've been trying to talk him down and calm him. She's seen that st before and knows there's no point trying to reason with a man who clearly scrapes his knuckles when he walks.

Funny as fook!!
lol aside from RONNIE PICKERING, who? - what is it with the grey scenic trying to get all wheelspinny too, is it a tad 'council' 'round that part of town?
Very council round there. The road they turn right onto at the roundabout (Wawne Road) connects two estates to each other.lol aside from RONNIE PICKERING, who? - what is it with the grey scenic trying to get all wheelspinny too, is it a tad 'council' 'round that part of town?
Best thing I've seen on FB in regards to it so far is:
I was having a beer with Chuck Norris the other day, when he suddenly looked up as he saw someone come in behind me. His eyes widened in fear, and his beard turned a shade grayer. I said: "Chuck, you look terrified. What's the matter?" Chuck said: "What's the matter? I'll tell you what's the matter! Ronnie fking Pickering is standing right behind you!"

Not really. Lost tempers and words are commonplace, if this was a typical bit of shouty road rage then few people would be interested. Ron's red-faced outrage at the failure of the moped rider to recognise him is what made this viral. It's comedy gold that could have come straight out of a Fawlty Towers script.OK he lost his temper and said some things.
