I imagine most peoples choices have sold now. Do we get to pick an alternative car?
Nope. No alternative, you have to sit with the money until that exact car appears in the classifieds again. wink

I know its a cheesy thought, but imagine how awesome the winner is going to feel.

I hope it goes to someone really deserving.

We'll find you a suitable similar car if the chosen one has sold.

Obviously a suitable alternative for an MR2 would be a Chimaera then hehe

yes

It's similar to the hire car "or equivalent" stipulation.

I'll keep my eye on this thread then seeing as Stuart (director bloke) gave a sarcastic response to Light n Hairy on my thread, and then got highly offended when Light n Hairy replied, so gave the last word and then closed the topic before any further reply could be given.

Jesus this place is a bloody joke sometimes...

TBH 4000 entries is an undertaking. 3 mins per entry time to process you are looking at 200 man hours or 8 days work, 24/7 for one person.

They have a very onerous task, good luck.. smile

Yep. Question was asked, question was answered, thread was closed. 'twas always so in the feedback forum.

Anyway, the delay suits me fine as it puts off the moment I'm jealous of a couple of other of you buggers biggrin

Hopefully "current car" is going to be a big deciding factor.

I've just been doing a little (browser) window shopping and I found a lovely version of the car I want: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/m...

It would be a lovely step up from a 13 year old Passat!

Fingers crossed!

the most amusing thread ive read in age, also everyones being such a good sport and playing nice.
some kindly gentleman remodelled the entire rear end of my just bought clio 172 last night, winning this would be just the news to cheer me up.
