Spotted this one today at Asda in Leeds, made me chuckle!
I was at Pudsey Asda a few days ago when the car park was icy. You couldn't see the lines for love nor money. Still, didn't explain the guy who parked across two spaces next to me. I was right on the outside of the row.hardcorehobbit said:

Last night whilst trying to get home in the gridlock around North London a woman pulled out from a side road (the car in front of me let her out) and parked straight across in front of us (nose facing the kerb), got out and walked up to the house 3 doors down.
Silly cow was picking someone up and couldn't be arsed to park up.

No photos I'm afraid but we parked in the baby / child spaces at the supermarket today.
Finished the shopping, returned to the car to discover some twunt had parked in the gap between my car and the next, across the stripy bit of markings. Left me about half an inch to get the doors open. So I went back into the store and got them to tannoy the fker. He wasn't best pleased.

If it's the same person i'm thinking of...it'll be parked similar to that every time it's parked.

Thats exactly the sort of thing i'd have done too !Finished the shopping, returned to the car to discover some twunt had parked in the gap between my car and the next, across the stripy bit of markings. And then please tell us that you gave him both barrels of verbal abuse upon his return about his absolutely outragious effort at so called `parking`.

I think some of these bad parking examples are a sad indication of the sloppy nature of the country. I don't know how they can just walk away and leave the cars abandoned like that - more than once I've parked up, got out the car and then realised i've made a pils of it, and had to unlock and get back in to sort my positioning out. These sloppy Parkers must just draw to a halt where they feel like and think "stuff it, that's close enough for me"?
Perhaps they are right and I'm wrong, maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist?
Just read your post, I do exactly the sasme. My Volvo S80 is a big car, I always have a look behind me after parking rear to rear to another car in shopping precints.Perhaps they are right and I'm wrong, maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist?
Reason I do is that I reverse until my parking sensors go off, but sometimes I am over my white line as the car behind me is so far into his bay. I always consider when he goes, another large car may drive in.
Guess you and I are in a very minority these days.
