Would I be correct in saying.. on a fwd car that is completely useless and actually worse for its handling?
Have you never watched BTCC ?

That wing is fairly typical of what some of the hatches use.
I have watched BTCC, yes wink
Understand how a wing works, produced downforce and drag but never understood why its used on fwd cars when its pushing the back end down but as a result in pushing the front up.
Never bothered to look into it as its not very high on my priority list right now. unlike browsing ph wink
Only thing I can think of right now is to keep the rear end down whilst turning.

I agree, it is truly disgusting. Yet it is currently at over £1200, with a day of biding yet to go. You wonder who looks at such a creation and thinks I must have that....

Hmmm, and here we run into the dilemma of what "badly modified" means. That car is not to my personal taste, but i would argue that the exterior is actually quite well executed. Whereas as some (that homemade Zonda replica, take a bow (again)) are, by any measure 'badly modified'.

There are some pretty serious panel gaps on that thing, the vtec on the back is really horrifying, i'd say its pretty badly modified wink

In combination with some front aero to push the car down overall.
Downforce is to provide grip, which is useful in pretty much all situations, not ONLY to get power down.

I've always taken 'badly modified' here to mean the aesthetics and not the execution. Most cars posted are probably quite well done in terms of finish, workmanship etc but look gash (in the eye of the beholder anyway). The Honda here is a good example (bar the panel gaps).

I love cars like this.

back left side of the bumper will need a new clip to put back in place
I'm sure that's all it needs. They're about 4 quid from Honda, why not get one?

passenger door popper needs a new fuse
Absolutely. These are about 5p? Just you know, fix it? Or could it be that it's maybe not 'just' a fuse.

I quite like the wheel set up inc colour. The screen decal and Audi badge colour, spoil it.

The wheels remind me of an old front engined porsche, tbh it's not to bad as it's functional but at first glance I thought they had put a tow strap around the intercooler piping which would have made it worthy of this thread for sure.

Same thought on the tow strap but does appear to be attached behind and just resting on the intercooler pipes. Remove the window sticker and I could drive that provided its on air.

Looks well done even if people dont like the colour choice.
