I figure this would be one of the top few most expensive number plates available were it to be sold, perhaps millions?

Stunning car, great plate and made better by the fact that he hasn't cut down the plate size in a chavvy manner! thumbup

Is that illegal spacing? Should there not be a gap between the two characters?

Could be, but don't think he'd get pulled for that one as he's not trying to misrepresent it...

There is an MK3 Escort Estate in Leeds which had 'B6' as the numberplate, im sure I have seen it on another car recently though.

Also seen 'CRA1G' on an Aston belonging to a PH'er.

See 'W17DAS' occasionally too which is Dean Windas' car.

And no prizes for guessing his name biggrin

I keep meaning to ask him why he has it on "D" German style plates, need to remember next time I'm talking to him.

that's illegal too close together

have a look for my 6E a few pages back as that's legal so you can see the difference
Still don't think he'd get 'tugged' for it though...

Also with all this talk of 1x1 plates what about 4L offered at £58k on cnreg.com ?

Not a bad initial plus cheaper than most / all others

4 L
£8,500 + taxes
Sold in Jun 1993
If it sells it was a good investment

who was it that said on here "people who buy number plates are stupid?"

i'm actually on with buying 4L - haggling at this very moment - it's a giveaway and £20k cheaper than any of the other plates and it's an 'L'. I know what I sold 3L for and it was a hell of a lot more than £58k!!!!!

I may as well admit it now you brought it up frown
That's a fantastic price Lloyd. Even without haggling it's a bargain!
