Well, if 300k miles is your thing, then how about this with 501,000kms...

Speaking of how much fuel cars have gone through... yikes

Wow! That must be some sort of record? Strange car to do that sort of mileage in - excellent find though!

It does doesn't it? Excellent find, I wonder how much work has been done to it?

These Volvos hold the miles well.

Some great finds there, I especially like the old 405 estate - you don't see too many of them about now.

The CRX is a good one too, can't remember the last time I saw one of them but it seems and odd car to be doing serious mileage in.

Thing is that the majority of those quoted are (accounting for age) not particularly high mileage.

The CRX referenced above is only a little more than 8k miles a year, so average mileage for the age.

I'm much more interested in more modern cars that have averages of c. 50k+ miles a year as being more worthy for comment, all IMO of course.
Fair enough, it it quite interesting to see some slightly unusual cars with what most would consider to be high mileage on them.

Goes to show that 100k is certainly not the death sentence that most people seem to think it is!

These Volvos posted further up are very interesting, I could see myself driving one of them.

The C1 and that F11 are quite something!! I don't suppose you could post links to the original ads so we can have a nosey at the interiors etc?

250k on a 2011 car? Definitely not a typo? yikes

That is a lot of miles to be doing in a car like that! Still looks great though, good find thumbup

On the other hand, I am trying to come up with something less desirable than this:

Impressed it has made it that far!

^ Christ, surely not?! All that mileage in 2 years?

Well, I suppose it is possible. Drivers seat looks pretty damn good if that is genuine.

Speaking of looking pretty good for 300k+

That little I20 is a good find!

However I raise you this 2010 Corsa 1.3 CDTI with 156k:

Complete with suspicious stain in the boot hehe

I have to admit, it does look in pretty good nick! Hardly any wear on the drivers bolster at all.

Very impressed that someone chose to do that sort of mileage in a big V8 petrol car, excellent find! Looks extremely tidy as well, nicer than some cars I have seen with 25% of the miles.

When you say it was serviced by time and not mileage, what sort of mileag gaps are we talking between services?

If it is in good nick and has been looked after it will probably be fine, but his logic is a bit daft if the fact it is a white M Sport was the only reason he bought it!

No idea, i'm guessing on an average ~28k a year it's only had a service for each 28k miles.
That's brave... Like the above poster I don't know masses about these engines but that sounds like a potential ticking bomb!

Personally, I wouldn't touch that with someone else's barge pole.

For the age, the mileage is pretty high. It's worthy of this thread. I find 100-150k mile 1-2 year old cars more interesting from a talking point than older cars with 200k. 200k miles on a 10 year old car is a bit so what really.
I agree, it is defiantly worthy of this thread. Crazy high milers of any age are very welcome, but I think fairly new cars with much higher than normal miles are interesting too!

ETA - spotted this on AutoTrader:

Not massively high when you consider it is 21 years old, but still. I like it!

Why not? Because I don't need to.

I don't reckon I'll do 20k in my F30.
Will you get rid of it because you fancy a change, or because you are worried about the mileage?

Thats an interesting one, seems quite an ambitious price if these miles are genuine?

Here is another high mileage XF:

172k, 2008 model for £9k.

Seems to have worn the miles pretty well!

Looks pretty damn good if so, but surely not?

These A1s are really holding their value it seems!

I wonder why someone chose one to do that sort of mileage in though?

These seats look lovely, are they an option? I don't recall seeing them on a Golf before (not that I have been in many).

Good find!
