It does doesn't it? Excellent find, I wonder how much work has been done to it? These Volvos hold the miles well.

Thing is that the majority of those quoted are (accounting for age) not particularly high mileage.
The CRX referenced above is only a little more than 8k miles a year, so average mileage for the age.
I'm much more interested in more modern cars that have averages of c. 50k+ miles a year as being more worthy for comment, all IMO of course.
Fair enough, it it quite interesting to see some slightly unusual cars with what most would consider to be high mileage on them. The CRX referenced above is only a little more than 8k miles a year, so average mileage for the age.

Goes to show that 100k is certainly not the death sentence that most people seem to think it is!
These Volvos posted further up are very interesting, I could see myself driving one of them.
That is a lot of miles to be doing in a car like that! Still looks great though, good find
On the other hand, I am trying to come up with something less desirable than this:

Impressed it has made it that far!

^ Christ, surely not?! All that mileage in 2 years?
Well, I suppose it is possible. Drivers seat looks pretty damn good if that is genuine.
Speaking of looking pretty good for 300k+

That little I20 is a good find!
However I raise you this 2010 Corsa 1.3 CDTI with 156k:

Complete with suspicious stain in the boot
I have to admit, it does look in pretty good nick! Hardly any wear on the drivers bolster at all.

No idea, i'm guessing on an average ~28k a year it's only had a service for each 28k miles.
That's brave... Like the above poster I don't know masses about these engines but that sounds like a potential ticking bomb! Personally, I wouldn't touch that with someone else's barge pole.

For the age, the mileage is pretty high. It's worthy of this thread. I find 100-150k mile 1-2 year old cars more interesting from a talking point than older cars with 200k. 200k miles on a 10 year old car is a bit so what really.
I agree, it is defiantly worthy of this thread. Crazy high milers of any age are very welcome, but I think fairly new cars with much higher than normal miles are interesting too! ETA - spotted this on AutoTrader:

Not massively high when you consider it is 21 years old, but still. I like it!

Thats an interesting one, seems quite an ambitious price if these miles are genuine?
Here is another high mileage XF:
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2013...
172k, 2008 model for £9k.
Seems to have worn the miles pretty well!

Looks pretty damn good if so, but surely not?
