MG ZT-T. 500+ miles down to Morzine last year in one go, got out feeling as if I'd just been round the corner to the shops.

MR2 Turbo Seats.

4 position lumbar adjustment
Bolster tightness adjustment
Seat height adjust

Never sat in a more comfortable OE or aftermarket seat, so much so that I'd seriously consider retrofitting one into my next car.

My old 9-5 Aero seats were extremely comfortable.

If you mean comfortable as in the sort of chair you'd sit in at home then Volvo gets my vote. Had a V70 briefly and compared to the Mercedes and Jaguar barges I was used to the seats were in a different league.

Was just about to say the very same thing, supportive and very very comfortable on a long run smile

Believe it or not i actually find the seats in my VX220 one of the most comfortable i have been in.

Done 2 european tours (3k miles) one in my VX and one in the Ferrari. Felt like i could drive all day in the VX (I did actually) without any aches or pains. I couldn't walk after a good few hours driving the Ferrari.

Vauxhall's sport seats (Astra Mk4 SRI/SXI, Vectra C SRI) are considered some of the better seats out there. It's a Recaro design (actually built by Recaro in pre-2000 Astras).
They're good seats, but I wouldn't say they are the most comfortable.

The seats in my Saxo VTS were very nice, infact most Citroens seem to be!

The best I've sat in is a mk 1 clio, honestly. Like a bloody armchair that thing is.

These:

Not the most suportative seats, but incredibly comfortable.

But it seems Volvo have always built the best seats on the market 123GT; 740; 940; 850; V70 (V70R!!!!); C30. Wouldn't buy anything else!!

I have heard this from many people on vx220.org

One of the reasons I got rid of my VX is because I found the seats unbelievably uncomfortable. As they have no adjustment I guess it very much depends on whether your body shape is the shape the designers made the chair for!

Depends on what your using it for but I found RS4 recaros to be an amazing throne on 5hr+ drives.

If it's pure comfort your after for a long drive my old p38 range rover faired pretty well on similar journeys

Saab 9000 Aero seats were epic.

I like my MX5 seats, but then I'm short and the support me well.

All Saab seats, but the ones in my 9000 aero were so good that they are being transplanted into my campervan.

Great things about SAABs:

Seats
Night panel
Centre console ignition
Q-Car abilities (well, the Aeros anyway)

Will be a shame when they are gone, I hope someone buys the patents/designs for the above and uses them... frown

I found the Recaro's in the Evo's to be pretty good, the Konig's in the R32 are nowhere near as comfy as they were
