Just make sure you get Chris Hartis to road-test it, and Riggers to SOTW it, after you've finished!
Chris Hartis is too costly for PH.
My first attempt at a joke in 3 months and I get it wrong. Back to the fuzzy felt for me...

I was in the Lego Store at Rockefeller Center on Thursday and annoyingly they didn't have the Unimog (not sure if they sell it in the US) otherwise I would have bought one. I ended up getting a bunch of the Architecture series, which although pretty easy/quick to make do look really nice displayed in the study.

They did have this, though, very very nice model...

The Unimog is cheaper on the official Lego Shop site than on Amazon, by the way.

Mrs Olf bought me the power kit for the digger I built earlier in the year - great kit - lights and powered!

I have one of those - unfortunately it is used, it is a very good build though, a lot of fun!

Is the LEGO site the best place to buy these?

Shame it doesn't let you search for them in hardness or how many pieces?

Where else might?

I've just checked the price of the Unimog £187 on Amazon!!

Mine from thirty years ago, traded to a cousin for a Hornby "Flying Scotsman", both have gone now frown

Time for some shopping on the bay I think biggrin

Merry Christmas PH!
I've still got my lego, and I have this car chassis. This was the second one Lego produced.

http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8860-1 The price of this on ebay!

I broke my ankle before Christmas, and just asked my other half to get my lego out of the loft tomorrow. I'm hoping all the bits are still there. I also kept my Hornby trainset biggrin

I had one for my 12th birthday and loved it. Built an electric motor powered permanent AWD crusher that I found - in one piece - a few years ago. Not ashamed to say I played with it for 30 mins! Building obstacles and all that . . .

We bought my son the Lego VW Camper for Christmas - he is in the process of building it as I type!

We bought from the Lego website, Amazon wanted over £130 for it confused

I've got the camper half done on my table. I love it so much I think I may become a bit of a lego geek.

-10 points for not putting the decals on!. You can make this one climb using the bucket to 'push' it up onto mounds. Its almost as cool as the bulldozer.

Its also good for winding cats up My Pogull goes nuts for it if you drive it towards him

Putting the decals on tomorrow, as well as solving a problem with drive (I've got full arm and bucket movement but no drive!)
